About Us

Dunn Physical Therapy of RaleighDunn Physical Therapy was established in 1998 by Tess and Christopher Dunn. Being a family owned private practice, Dunn Physical Therapy has gained the reputation and experience of being able to provide result based driven care, evidence based care and passionate care to their patients. We are proud that some of our therapists have earned the distinction of being Board Certified Specialists in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS). This nationally accredited certification is awarded to an elite group of physical therapists for their superior skills and knowledge in the realm of orthopedic physical therapy. A clinical requirement and rigorous written examination must be successfully completed in order to attain this honor.

Dunn Physical Therapy promotes the patient's right to choose a physical therapy provider so that the patient may have full confidence in the care that they receive. North Carolina State law allows a patient to come directly to us with or without the referral of a doctor. Local physicians refer their patients to us as a result of the commitment that we share for quality care.

In 2003, Tess and Christopher Dunn were awarded the 2003 Practice Award by the American Physical Therapy Association’s Private Practice Section. This national award recognizes outstanding contributions to the community, as well as an innovative approach to physical therapy.

Providing superior care to each individual patient is the primary focus of our practice. Please browse our website or call our office with any questions regarding treatment.
